Just as an FYI, even when running on a Linux machine, Wine attempts to emulate a portion of the Windows structure, it does not create a windows "Virtual Machine" for you to run in. So I don't have to learn the Linux terminology.
It would be fine, if Wine just lets me continue to use the DOS commands at commandline,
